Last week, the Marshall University TRiO, Upward Bound, and Talent Search sites completed their conversion to the MOSS 2007 CMS framework.   This change allows the staff within those offices to take over management of their web content.

Giving the staff the ability to manage content directly, rather than creating a bottleneck with the web team, should allow for more up-to-date, accurate content available to the end users.

The site is available for review here.
Logos and Images Now on Google App Engine

Marshall University logo and image files for use on web pages have been made available on Google App Engine.  Placing the images on Google App Engine allows you to reliably link to them from your own pages, as well as download the zip files containing image source.

The Google App Engine acts as a Content Delivery mechanism, spreading image requests across servers in the Google App farm.

You can access these images from the Knowledge Base, or by visiting the Google App Engine App directly.
