Center for Academic Excellence: University Honors Program
Housed in Marshall's Center for Academic Excellence, the Honors program provides a community of learning within the larger university community. Students and faculty work together closely. Students have an opportunity to exchange ideas and points of view in a unique atmosphere of shared learning and respect.

Tutoring Services
Available to all Marshall students, tutoring help is available to give you that extra edge by supplementing your in-class instruction and outside studies.
UNI 101
UNI 101, New Student Seminar, is designed as an introduction to college life for freshmen and new transfer students. Taught by faculty, administrators, and staff, the course provides students with an opportunity to adjust to the academic and social environment of college under the guidance of a mentor and in the presence of a small group of peers.
Writing Center
The Writing Center is a free tutoring service for all Marshall University and CTC students who want help with their writing.  Our Writing Center is staffed by graduate and upper-level undergraduate students who are trained to help at all stages of the writing process and in any discipline.
